Phoenotopia was a great game.
The beautiful yet warm music complements the story, and I had to stop and listen to it many times.
I really wanted a CD, but it seemed difficult to obtain, so I bought it here.
Thank you for your wonderful music.

i tend to love most soundtracks of the games i play, but this one is something special......i can listen end to end the whole thing while going about my day, the range of inspiration for the sounds is very diverse yet ties together

It's really hard to choose a single song from this amazing game. The tunes nail the atmosphere and create a world that's an absolute joy to explore.
Favorite track: Fran's Theme.

Such an insanely good soundtrack to an insanely good game. I'm blown away. I can't stop listening to it. Reminds me of a piano-heavy Mitsuda soundtrack, gorgeous and exhilarating all at once. A+, five stars, whatever else, hell yes.
Favorite track: Boss Battle.
It all started many years ago in my college days when my roommate, who had always dreamed of creating video games, joked with me about becoming a game dev duo; he'd make the game, I'd make the music. Sure, why not? I was thinking nothing would come of it. But nope. Flash forward a few years: my friend quit his job to become a full-time solo game dev and I started working on these songs during my free evenings. A few more years later, here we are!
The music itself is a mix of styles, from melancholic solo piano to heavy rocking battle themes, from orchestral adventuring to otherworldly synthscapes, with varying ratios of acoustic/electronic elements. And a bunch of piano melodic lines and rhythms that permeate 90% of the soundtrack just because pianos are great. Most sounds were generated "in-the-box", but a few songs feature recorded acoustic/electric guitar and violin. And everything was mixed and pseudo-mastered using Reaper.
Stumbled upon this band after listening to their awesome cover of Chrono Trigger - Corridors of Time. Great stuff, a relaxing album with a jazzy feel and laid-back female vocals. Mix is great too. sillythewilly
Catchy, quirky, and laced with beloved leitmotifs, the OST to Deltarune's second chapter solidifies Toby Fox's status as a VGM big shot. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 29, 2021
